David A. Ross has a 40-year career as an art museum professional and educator. He is currently the Chair of the MFA Art Practice program at the School of Visual Arts. He is the former director at Boston’s Institute of Contemporary Art, the Whitney Museum, and at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
The conversation is not unlike the Yale interview series that I send you a digest of every week, however, it will not be focused on what David Ross is doing at the moment, but rather on speculation about the future of what we will all be doing.
The plan is to discuss the possible nature and form of this new conversation in the art world at this moment and also what it might be post-pandemic.
I want you to come because I want you to ask questions that David and I will answer. Since it is about the conversation in the art world, it would not be complete without your input.
I hope you can make it!
It is free and there is no registration, just use this Zoom link below to join the conversation at Noon this Sunday, April 19th.
I will send a few more reminders just before we go live.
Gratefully Yours,
Brainard Carey
