Genco Gülan whom I met at the exhibition of contemporary Turkish art in Kiev wrote to me every day and the result of our friendship was the presentation of my new painting: “The Night of the Conquistadors” (my self-portrait dedicated to space exploration) at the exhibition Friends of the Museum at Istanbul Contemporary Art Museum

Using artificial intelligence tool yesterday I created the new painting. I don’t argue and will not hide that my new digital painting can be attributed to the Francis Bacon style, but what was surprising to me was that my painting after AI processing, with the parameters I had already set, was not subject to further processing and improvements, for example, in Photoshop, which I usually use for these purposes. Well, is the picture I created using AI already really perfect? And now we are talking about a new world and a new community of human artist and artificial intelligence? What ways of art development do you see and what can you say about it? Thanks

I think there is a need to look at women artists who missed the moment and are still making huge strides but are not getting the attention to their work

I’ve made a book and posted the episodes (it’s collage based) on Instagram and it’s satisfying but hardly anything that will have impact. What’s the near term future of art – male, female, black, white … etc. ?
