“Just announced a residency/guest artist/ in studio position I secured with Phila Art Museum this summer.
Two great things about that…
1. the exhibit I'm grounding my work in is very close to my heart, both in a creative and historical sense…
2. is that I may be able to work this into other opportunities...
- I met the director of museum programming, who I plan on contacting about my non profit doing art events in the museum....
- I’m also planning on using the experience to do some guest lectures, pop up programs and maybe some travel to the South.
- I also proposed a summer exhibit to another org based on this appointment...fingers crossed and ready to work!”
