What makes patrons ʀᴇꜱᴇɴᴛ yᴏᴜ when you ask for money?

Yes and No. It is nuanced, there are do’s and don'ts for sure.

There is a common faux pas the majority of artists make when they ask for funding.

It makes you look shallow, and it makes the patron feel like an ATM machine.

The end-result? A politely humiliating “No”.

… so exceedingly polite, in fact, that you feel the irritation vibrating off the words.

It takes me a while to explain it which is why I made a webinar that is free.

So if you want to discover the one thing you must never say in a letter to a potential patron, then grab your spot, grab your coffee and see you on Monday at 1:00 pm EST:
