Then I want you to meet Marianne Wagner - the curator for Contemporary Art and Head of the Skulptur Projekte Archives at the LWL-Museum in Münster. 

With Kasper König and Britta Peters, she curated the Skulptur Projekte 2017. She likes sculpture and ephemeral work and curates internationally.

The show draws from the archive of the sculpture projects and the museum’s collection to highlight the transient, performative, and interactive aspects of sculpture.

Her PhD focused on lecture performances and speech acts, which influences her curatorial work. She’s interested in expanding the definition of sculpture to include language and conversation, like inviting artists to create works where speaking becomes sculptural.
 

Video Clip 3: Explore her collaborative and research-based approach to curating. She often starts from the museum’s collection and builds projects that extend existing works. She prefers to work with others, collaborating with colleagues from local institutions and incorporating dance, theater, and university partnerships. She emphasizes public access and sharing the museum’s resources through education and interdisciplinary projects, aligned with the Sculpture Project’s commitment to free public engagement.
