“Guggenheim Fellow.” Two
Words That Open Doors.
Dear Artist,
There is no award in the U.S. or Canada quite like the Guggenheim.
It does what commercial success often can’t: it elevates your work beyond the market, into a conversation about meaning, contribution, and legacy.
When Marsia Alexander-Clarke won, she didn’t buy a car. She traveled to Pablo Neruda’s ancestral home. She built an installation.
She called me after she won and said:
“Finally getting a larger institution to affirm my work felt very important. The Guggenheim is maybe the best and most prestigious award I’ve ever
received.”
You’re not applying to prove yourself to anyone.
You’re applying because this award gives you the time, space, and recognition to go deeper. It’s an internal endorsement with external benefits.
You must be:
- A citizen or permanent resident of the U.S. or
Canada
- A mid-career artist with some exhibitions.
If that’s you, I’ll help you get it done.
Only 2 spots left.
We begin soon.
Reply to this email if you’re ready and want to know my fee and process.
Sincerely,
Brainard Carey
