Raúl is an independent curator, arts writer and educator. He has curated/co-curated 159 exhibitions in the Americas, Asia, and Europe. These were presented at art fairs, biennials, galleries, museums, university galleries, and alternative art spaces.
As an arts writer, more than 200 of his texts have been published including contributing to dozens of art-related books and exhibition catalogs.
He is also the founder of WhiteBox - a non-profit gallery in New York city’s East Village and three Praxis members exhibited
there last month.
Would you like to meet Raul - and be included in a show he is curating?
We had the privilege of hosting him at a recent Praxis Roundtable -- a weekly Zoom call where
Praxis students meet and interact with influential collectors, curators and gallerists.
After his Roundtable, three Praxis members got into an exhibit he curated - Ann-Marie with work on paper, Dan with the image below of a building on fire, and Lusmerlin with a performance, all in the east village of NYC.
