Collectors can make your career if they buy enough of your work... (New Webinar)
Published: Mon, 01/17/22
The YBA was a British movement and it was largely propelled by one collector (Charles Saatchi, an Iraqi-born British advertising executive) who bought work and helped to give it value and importance.
Tracey Emin was one of the artists that benefited from this collector.
And so were Jake and Dinos Chapman... Damien Hirst... Gary Hume... Sarah Lucas... Chris Ofili... Marc Quinn... Sam Taylor-Johnson...

For example, this was Tracey Emin’s studio before meeting a collector. See the bed in the left corner? A pretty small space...

After she had a few shows, this is what her studio looked like:
- Her office has a place to photograph work…
- Larger work area and a painting rack in the back
- Assistants to help in the studio!
As you can see, the right collectors can make an artist’s career.
And that’s exactly why I created this new webinar: I’m going to teach you how to find those influential collectors and get them to buy your art.

It’s going down on 24th January at 1:00 PM EST:
